I'm back from Helipad. And somehow I just had the inspiration to talk about this, second chances.

Quotes, books, or even people might tell you that there's no need to read the same story book twice, when you already know the ending. But picture this, you in an exam, finishing the paper. Do you choose to go through every question again, or do you just sit there and wait for the time to be up? Different people have different perspectives, but let me share with you guys mine. Check through and do every single question again. Because a question is different every time you attempt it, and somehow you might spot where you went wrong the first time you attempted it, realize where you were tackling the problem from and actually correct your mistake and score that question. Sitting there and waiting for the time to be up, thinking that nothing will change because of your self-confidence that the question is still the same no matter from which angle you look at it, is pure stupidity. It is pure cowering away from possible mistakes, and seeking solace from your own insatiable hunger of pride.

The same thing with second chances, be it work or love or whatever. Obviously I'm going to dwell on love, since my blog is kinda more famous for its romance stuff. Second chances, try? Don't try. Just do it. If you're afraid to face the same questions the second time, don't even take on the paper at the start. If you know that something somewhere went wrong, you're feeling wavered and slowly realizing that there might be a possible mistake, though that of minimal one,  go back and attempt the paper once again. If you had enough faith to take on the paper the first time, go for it a second time. Stop wandering around with your mind and end up wasting time, till the clock strikes the end of the exam and there's no more correcting of mistakes, and only pure permanent regrets after receiving back your results. If you know you're going to get back the paper and go 'hey I could have gotten that answer right', you're going to end up somewhere you don't want to be.

Going back to the half-filled glass of water story, why look at things half-emptily, when you can be rejoicing over the cup being half-full? Start drinking and enjoying that half cup of water, feeling satisfied that at least you've got something to quench your thirst, instead of frowning over and squeezing your brain juices dry on how to fill the other half. Cherish what you have, grab hold of opportunities and give it everything you've got, because you might not get another chance at things again in the future. Chances don't come as and when you like. They come and chance upon you. That explains chances being called chances.

Love you guys.
