Worked the whole day at Jurong Point yesterday. Fun. I find the teamwork and bond so much stronger in Jurong Point as compared to NorthPoint. Tell me why. Pfft. Chefs are better, staff better, and supervisors better. Superior in every way. Even though the sales couldn't compare to NorthPoint yesterday, Jurong Point still has a better place in my heart.
Decided to stay back for Steamboat with the guys there after work. I mean, they actually put in effort to come, even those off work, to bond together and have fun together. Compared to the people here. People who don't give work schedule for fridays/saturdays just because it's busy and tiring. People who don't give schedule just to have fun, and can watch their own outlet die from lack of staff. Not that it's illegal or what to have fun, but at least think of yourself only once in a while, help out while you can. People who just want to have fun just turns me off so much because they're just immature people.
I swear I have tons of things about work to complain about. What's there to do about it? Afterall, I've been working at the same outlet for a year and 2 months. I'm already sick and tired of it. What else is new. Sigh.
Anyway, thoroughly enjoyed steamboat with the guys. Had fun as though we knew each other for damn long, at least they bothered to entertain me. I appreciate that. They took me like one of their own staff. Friendly much. And I was open as well. Cabbed home with Han Wei. Working today with him later when he starts at 6pm. I'm working from 12pm-11pm again.
Off day tomorrow. Looking forward to it :)
The DJ got us fallin' in love again.
