It's ironic.

The way one doesn't get the desired attention when he wants it, of which the attention is given by the subject to some other source at that instant, and then the loss of desire for attention when the attention, previously desired, is now made available to him.

When you want something, you don't get it. When you get it, you're not ready to believe that it's yours, or you're not interested in it anymore.

When you need something but not want it, its existence is certain. When you want something but not need it, it does not necessarily have to have its options open to you.

Just to inform my beloved readers, I've not been smoking for 3 days already. Such a great accomplishment ain't it? Sweet.
